What it does
- Reads EPUB, plain TXT, and CBZ comics.
- Low‑clock reading mode — underclocks the CPU so a charge lasts.
- Remembers your place in every book (persistent progress) and resumes on open.
- Caches generated covers to app‑data so the shelf opens fast.
- Three themes (Paper / Night / Contrast), adjustable font size and margins.
- Bookmarks, a sleep timer, and a portrait mode for comics.
- Page turns: Instant, Slide, or Curl.

Install without a computer
AAhead Reader is a single self‑contained EBOOT.PBP. From the PSP browser, open aahead.site/psp/, download the EBOOT, and place it at PSP/GAME/AAheadReader/EBOOT.PBP on your Memory Stick.
Known issues
- Large EPUBs (over ~8 MB) re‑flow slowly on first open, then cache.
- DRM‑protected EPUB is not supported and will not open.
- CBZ pages above ~1024 px are downscaled to the panel; fine detail is lost.
- PDF, MOBI, and AZW are not supported.
